James Christie is a professional photographer. He spent 12 years working in London and moved to Los Angeles, California in 1990. James worked in both Los Angeles and New York between 1990 and 2004.

James returned to Edinburgh in 2004. His photography has received awards from the BBC and the Metro Newspaper. His work was also featured in editorial news items on David Bowie’s web site.

James has developed his photographic skills over the last 20 years in London, New York, Los Angeles and Edinburgh. His passion is for portrait photography and he has a gift for getting the very best out of his subject. A thorough understanding of lighting techniques and a secure knowledge of his cameras and lenses ensure the client receives “THE” photograph that will last a lifetime.

James uses the very latest Nikon equipment and shoots with the best Nikkor (Nikon) lenses. A commitment to being at the cutting edge in photographic technology means the client can rest assured that they are working with the very best.
